Growing

She's growing up. The old saying about blink and your baby is gone, blink again and your child is gone, blink again and they are walking down the aisle, is certainly true. A friend was talking today about her toddler and memories came rushing back.

The memories of not knowing what to do, what to say, how to say it. Most of all, wanting to help my little one become the person that I knew she could be. Little did I know how truly amazing the journy would be.

Now, she is peeking out the door, and independence is just a few years away. Without a doubt I'm not ready even if she thinks she is.
